This year, we have revised our scholarship application process! No more paper applications. In addition, this single application will allow you to apply for both the Judith R. Harris Scholarship which awards up to $1,500 and the Lyons-Scott Scholarship which awards $500.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be a student of color and graduating high school senior in Albuquerque or Rio Rancho, an undergraduate college student, or vocational student
• Must have a cumulative, unweighted GPA of 2.75 or greater
• Should you be selected as a scholarship recipient, you must be able to provide proof of enrollment from your institution before December 31, 2020

The new online process will require:

• A completed application. See below for application
• Official electronic transcript submission sent to educationaldevelopment@abqdeltas.org
• Email address of an organization/individual that can verify that you have completed community service within the last year
• A creative application topic submission via TikTok, Instagram, YouTube (no longer than 90 seconds), or written submission (250 words or less) that answers the question: Why should I receive this scholarship?
