Each scholarship application has its specific deadline listed. Please pay close attention to the deadlines. We will NOT accept late or incomplete applications. Your complete application must be in our P.O. Box by the deadline.

No. Our scholarships are not open to the immediate relatives (children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews) of those initiated into Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc who live in NM.
Graduating high school seniors in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho public schools, and undergraduate college students. Vocational students are also welcome to apply.
High school applicants: Do not need to be currently enrolled in college to apply but will be required to provide proof of enrollment in order to receive their scholarship.
College applicants: Must be enrolled in college to apply and will be required to provide proof of enrollment for the upcoming school year before they receive their scholarship.
Recipients will be notified by April of the year in which they apply.
Some payments are made directly to the student while others are made payable directly to the institution. Please check the application for specific details.
Proof of enrollment is an official document issued by the institution’s Registrar. We will provide you with a proof of enrollment form for your institution to complete if you are awarded the scholarship.
