The Judith R. Harris Scholarship is not open to family members (children, grandchildren, nieces or nephews) of Delta members.
High school applicants: Do not need to be currently enrolled in college to apply but will be required to provide proof of enrollment in order to receive their scholarship.
College applicants: Must be enrolled in college to apply and will be required to provide proof of enrollment for the upcoming school year before they receive their scholarship.
Recipients will be notified by April of the year in which they apply.
Some payments are made directly to the student while others are made payable directly to the institution.

Proof of enrollment is an official document issued by your academic institution’s Registrar. We will provide you with a proof of enrollment form for your institution to complete if you are awarded the scholarship.

The Margaret Carson Scholarship is the only scholarship that we offer that is open to the family of women initiated into Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
None of our other scholarships are open to family members (children, grandchildren, nieces or nephews) of Delta members.
